Midwest Energy News is taking a road trip, and by “road trip” I mean I’m hiring a reporter in Chicago to cover an energy efficiency conference for me.

We’ll be bringing you regular updates from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance annual conference in Chicago, which starts Wednesday and runs through Friday (click here for a PDF of the full schedule). It’ll be like Christmas, the Fourth of July and Halloween all wrapped up into one series of informative blog posts!

You may be aware that Grist’s David Roberts is moderating one of the panels this week, and we’re planning to do a video interview with him.

Prior to joining Fresh Energy, he was the managing editor for online news at Minnesota Public Radio.
